TESTIMONIAL from an ACCOUNTING STUDENT IN DLSU

Before anything else, I would like to commend you for being able to put up such detailed website. It is really nice that you publish your goals as well as your progress in this journey of yours. Moreover, you were able to put fun in learning as you give a new take on the stereotypically drab accounting websites. Proving by example that not all accountants are boring, your’s posts are even humorous to the layman. With that, I would like to congratulate you again and wish you the best as you take on this path. Accounting is not an easy thing to do but with perseverance there is nothing you cannot do.

TESTIMONIAL from an ACCOUNTANT (CPA)

Well I can really relate to the contents of this blog. Before I even became an accountant I also failed some (well maybe a lot) requirements given to us by my professor. I know that one minute party in our mind after we've realized that the document we're working on is balanced. But most of all I know that satisfying feeling knowing that after every lesson I have gained another bucket of knowledge I could impart to others. This blog just serve that purpose. To impart knowledge to those who still want to learn the digital way. This blog would not only help those who are studying bookkeeping but also the accountants who want to review their past experiences while doing the things posted here. Because all CPA's went through the same road. the same journey as the author, Stephanie Macasaet, is going through as she is updating this blog. Along with the failures are knowledge. I am happy to see that despite the downs, the author still proved that through hard work, anything could be surpassed. This blog for me is nostalgic, but most of all inspirational.

I look forward on meeting you at the end of your journey to success!

TESTIMONIAL from a BUSINESS OWNER

As a business owner, accountants and bookkeepers are a great help in managing my business. At first whenever I see them work, I don't get what they are doing but through this blog, I was able to understand what and how are they recording my business transactions. Even if the contents of this blog is mostly about a merchandising business and a dental clinic is a service business, I was still able to understand how it is related to my business because it was explained at Chapter 1 the difference and similarities of a service and merchandising business. This blog greatly helped me to manage my business better since I could help my accountant in organizing my documents so that the recording of business transactions would be easier. I also showed this blog to my accountant and he said that it brings her nostalgia since she also took a class like this when she was young.

Nonetheless, as a business owner, I know that the greatest asset that you would have would be your knowledge and creativity. This website proves to me that you have both and I am sure that this would be  your first stepping stone to achieve success. Just like the title of this blog, this is your journey to success and I know that you are still far from the finish line, but as you continue your journey you would improve not only in this field but in facing the challenges of life as well.
